CLASSES OFFERED

Basic Manners: Avoid future behavioral problems, by teaching your puppy the important skills that will help you raise a happy, friendly, well-mannered dog that you are proud to show off. Older, non-aggressive dogs that did not have the benefit of learning these skills may take this class also. This class will cover: leadership skills, handling skills, social skills, house training, chewing problems, puppy biting, barking issues, polite greetings, waiting at doorways, coming when called, sit and down stays, and leash manners.

Advanced Manners: Perfect the skills that you learned from the Basic Manners class. This class will cover how to distraction proof your dog and also how to set boundaries. Dogs should be able to listen without the use of a leash by the end of this class. Graduates of this class will have the opportunity to test for the Canine Good Citizen Program offered by the A.K.C. There are ten test items that must be passed in order to succeed. You will gain a certificate and bragging rights for your dog. For more information, visit www.akc.org. An additional fee of $10.00 is required in order to take the Canine Good Citizen Test.

Agility 101: Train, exercise and play with your dog all at the same time. This class covers the basic fundamentals for safe handling of obstacles, such as: jumps, weave poles, tunnels, A-frame, teeter and table. In order to take our Agility 101 class, you and your dog MUST take our Basic Manners class first, regardless of past training class history with other facilities.
